Sydney with Bridge Climbing

Day 01: Sydney

Welcome to Sydney! Endowed with a sparkling harbour, fabulous beaches and a sunny Mediterranean climate, it seems only right that its setting should have inspired one of the world’s most beautiful and glamorous cities. This beauty coupled with a multicultural population, has given rise to an impressive line- up of galleries, museums, talented artists and performers, complimented by some outstanding architecture from colonial to modern eras. On top of this Sydney has a relaxed unbuttoned lifestyle with a diverse population that gives it vivacity and a choice of restaurants, which is its signature. Please make your own way to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 02: Seaplane to Lunch & Dinner/Performance at the Opera House

Fly in a seaplane from Rose Bay to one of Sydney’s best kept secrets; Cottage Point Inn on the HawkesburyRiver for lunch. Following the coastline from the Harbouralong Sydney’s Northern Beaches, your flight will then turn inland and head over the majestic Ku-Ring-GaiChase National Park andHawkesburyRiver. The aircraft will then set down on the tranquil waters ofCowancreek where you will disembark from your flight at the restaurant’s private walk. Relax amid the sights and sounds of the Australian bushlandbird life enjoying superb modern Australian cuisine on the deck whilst the waters lap beside you. On the return flight to Sydney Harbouryour flight will fly a circuit of theHarbourin front of the Bridge and Opera House before landing at Rose Bay.

Continue enjoying the ambience of Sydney and it surrounds tonight as you “tour”, “dine”and take in a”performance”at the Sydney Opera House. The Sydney Opera House is the busiest performing artscentrein the world. Since its opening in 1973, it has brought countless hours of entertainment to millions of people and has continued to attract the best in world class talent year after year. Take a tour of this magnificent building followed by a dinner in a choice of venues and a first class performance to end off the night.

Day 03: The Hunter Valley Wine Region

Depart Sydney for Australia’s premium wine region. Cross the Sydney HarbourBridge, see‘Ku-Ring- GaiChase National Park and the spectacular HawkesburyRiver from a luxury 4WD this time. Enjoy great scenery – sandstone cliffs, mountains, rivers, farmlands, eucalypts and more. Leave the city behind; enjoy peace and beauty of the Australian bush in theWataganmountains. Look for wildlife; kangaroos, goannalizards, hear native Bellbirds. Enjoy lovely morning tea at ‘The Pines’. After morning tea see spectacular country, & bird life, plus exploreWollombiTownship & pub. Sample Dr JurdsJungle Juice! LeavingWollombi, enter the famous Hunter vineyards. First winery stop isMcWilliamsMtPleasant, famous for generations with a superb range of wines. We begin in the tasting room before relaxing in a lovely casual restaurant. Enjoy a delicious lunch served in the heart of the vineyards. The Hunter has many great wineries with their own style andwe’llvisit two more today. Lindemansis a famous Australian wine company with an international reputation for 150 years in the Hunter. Our third winery visit is tailored to the group where local family wineries offer different styles for people. Departing the wine country mid-afternoon, return directly to Sydney. Arrive back to city hotels around 6.30pm.

Day 04: Lunch at Doyles & Night bridge Climb

Enjoy a day at leisure exploring Sydney. Lunch is at Doyles, Watson’s Bay which is centrally located near The Rocks. The only prerequisite for a visit to this establishment is that you have to love fish. Seafood lovers are in good company as the Doyle family worships all creatures of the sea. Since WWII, Doyle’s on the Beach has been a Sydney institution. It’s a great place to have a fish meal, be mesmerised by the harbour, or even step off the verandah and go for aharbourdip. Doyle’s is dedicated to local catch which is cleaned in the company’s own rooms at Pyrmont Fish Market. Try wild caught Gulf barramundior a Moreton Bay blue swimmer crab salad. You choose whether you would like the fish grilled or ‚golden‘ fried. As one of few westward Sydney Harbourviews, Doyle’s is especially charming at sunset. Doyle’s is a perfect spot for international visitors to enforce the land-of-plenty advertisement.

This evening experience the thrill of climbing the Sydney HarbourBridge at night. The views cannot be imagined. This is a whole new experience for anyone who has climbed the bridge during the day and for first time climbers it is a brand new way to go. You will make your way to the summit as the city lights reveal itself with every step you take. You will be given a thorough briefing before you Climb, aBridgeSuit,BridgeLamp, communication equipment to wear,BridgeHarnessand three hours of unforgettable experiences. There is no adventure like it in the world; there is no view like it, no feeling like it!

Day 05: Sydney

The morning is at your leisure.Transfer by coach to Airport for international departure. 

Down Under

Participants: 10 pax,  Accommodation: 4/5 Star, Duration: 12 days 

Day 01: Sydney, Australia

Arrive Sydney, transfer to your accommodation and enjoy the day at leisure. Sydney, the capital of the state of New South Wales, is Australia’s most well known city. With its extraordinary icons both natural and man-made this is a city that never fails to please the eye. It’s magnificent natural harbor spanned by the ‘coat hanger’, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and the man-made sails of the Sydney Opera House are just some of its most widely photographed views.

Day 02: Sydney

Enjoy the morning at leisure. Later, walk to Circular Quay and check-in for your scheduled 90- minute Magistic lunch cruise on Sydney Harbour. Cruise aboard a modern catamaran and see Sydney in style!

Day 03: Sydney

At leisure in Sydney. Most of the major attractions of the city are within easy walking distance of your accommodation – Sydney Opera House, Darling Harbor, Centrepoint Tower, Circular Quay, The Rocks etc.

Day 04: Sydney – Ayers Rock

Transfer to Sydney Airport for your flight* to Ayers Rock. Arrive Ayers Rock and transfer to your accommodation. Longitude 131 is a new ‘safari’ style luxury tented site and is the first of its kind in Australia. Built on the very edge of Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park, the fifteen individual tents have uninterrupted views over Uluru. Enjoy the balance of your day at leisure or partake in a guided activity.

Day 05: Ayers Rock

All touring is included in the cost with the exception of specially requested private tours. During your stay, you may participate in any of the following tours: Uluru & Kantju Gorge Sunset, Ata Tjuta & Walpa Gorge, Uluru Cultural Center & Gourmet Dinner Under the Stars, and/or Explorer Sunrise.

Day 06: Ayers Rock – Cairns – Mossman

Transfer to Ayers Rock Airport for your flight* to Cairns. Arrive Cairns and transfer to your accommodation. Enjoy the balance of your day at leisure. Optional activities available include spa and massage treatments, freshwater swimming, tennis, bike riding and guided walks through the rainforest during the day and evening to see kangaroos, birds and platypus.

Day 07: Great Barrier Reef

Transfer to Marina Mirage in Port Douglas and board ‘Quicksilver’ Cruise full day excursion to Agincourt Reef. Situated on the very edge of the Great Barrier Reef, Agincourt Reef provides a sheltered anchorage for the Quicksilver vessel and the prefect spot for passengers to snorkel, dive, and view the spectacular coral formations from the semi submersible coral-viewing vessel.

Day 08: Mossman

Enjoy a full day at leisure at Silky Oaks Lodge. Perhaps join in some of optionalactivities available from the lodge such as spa and massage treatments, hiking, freshwater swimming, canoeing, tennis, golf, fishing, bike riding, or guided walk through the rainforest during the day or evening.

Day 09: Mossman – Cairns – Departure

Transfer to Cairns International Airport for your departing flight.

Australia Wine Tour

Participants: 08 pax,  Accommodation: 4/5 Star, Duration: 14 days

Day 01-02Zurich to Sydney

On day 2 cross the International Dateline – lose a day.

Day 03: Sydney

As Australia’s largest city, Sydney embraces its harbour, taking the sea and natural waterways to its heart. The grand style of the Sydney Opera House has made the city, the landmark of the South Pacific. Upon arrival, we are met and transferred to our hotel where our rooms have been pre- registered for early arrival. This evening we will enjoy an exclusive Gala Cocktail Reception at the impressive Sydney Opera House followed by Sail Venture’s Dinner Cruise on Sydney’s spectacular harbour.

Day 04: Sydney

After breakfast at our hotel, we board our coach for the drive to Featherdale Wildlife Park to see all the unique Aussie animals including koalas, kangaroos, wombats, emus etc. After our visit, we continue on to the Blue Mountains and Lilianfels Resort nestled on the rim of the Jamieson Valley to enjoy a delicious lunch hosted by representatives from the Orange/Mudgee wine regions. Late afternoon we return to Sydney and our hotel.

Day 05: Sydney to Hunter Valley

This morning, we will depart Sydney and travel north over the Hawkesbury River, through the citrus- growing areas of the Central Coast towards the Hunter Region with over 40 wineries many of them among the best known in Australia and overseas for their magnificent wines. Our first stop is at Wyndham Estates for a gourmet lunch and wine tasting. This afternoon we visit Wandin Valley Estate for tasting and a talk with the winemaker, Mr Geoffrey Broadfield. Our final stop today will be at Allanmere winery for tastings with the winemaker. On arrival at our fabulous hotel we will be greeted with a sparkling champagne welcome. Dinner tonight is at Chez Pok Restaurant in our hotel.

Day 06: Hunter Valley to Sydney

Enjoy a full day touring the valley. After a leisurely breakfast at our hotel we head to McWilliams Winery for vertical tasting of aged and current release of Hunter Semillons. A delicious gourmet lunch is included today at Rothbury Estate in the Grand Cask Hall with tasting. Later we have an exclusive tour of the wine making facilites at Tyrells including wine tasting of their premium and award winning wines. Late this afternoon, we coach back to Sydney and our hotel. Dinner tonight is on your own to discover one of Sydney?y fine restaurants.

Day 07: Sydney to Melbourne

Morning transfer to the airport for our short, domestic flight to Melbourne, Australia?hion and financial capital. Upon arrival, we are met and transferred to our hotel. The remainder of the day is free to explore Melbourne on your own.

This evening a unique experience as we enjoy a sumptuous dinner „clanging“ through the streets on the historic Tramcar Restaurant.

Day 08: Ballarat/Sovereign Hill

We depart in the late morning for the gold country town of Ballarat. On this scenic drive our first stop will be in the natural spa town of Daylesford for morning tea at Convent Gallery. The building was once a convent and has now been converted into a prestigious gallery. From Daylesford, we continue to Ballarat and the gold mining town of Sovereign Hill, a recreation of an 1850’s Australian gold rush town. A special lunch at the New York Bakery at Sovereign Hill is included. On our return to Melbourne we stop at Hanging Rock winery for a tour and tasting.

Day 09: Goulburn Valley

This morning we enjoy a delightful breakfast at the Royal Melbourne Zoological Gardens, rated one of the best in the world. After breakfast and a short guided tour of the grounds, we head to the Central Goulburn Valley for wine region to visit Chateau Tahbilk, one of Australia best wineries. Time for wine tasting before taking a leisurely cruise up river to the beautiful Mitchelton Winery, nestled on banks of the picturesque Goulburn River. Mitchelton Winery is one of the most sophisticated wineries in the world, renowned for a distinctive Australian style and consistent high quality. At Mitchelton, we will have time to stroll the grounds of the estate as well as time for a delicious lunch. Late afternoon return to Melbourne and our hotel.

Day 10: Melbourne to Adelaide

After a relaxing breakfast, we transfer to the airport for our flight to Adelaide, the Festival City on arrival, we are met and transferred to our hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. This evening we are welcomed with a cocktail reception at our hotel.

Day 11: Adelaide

This morning we will travel by deluxe coach to the Mclaren Vale region to sample the fine wines of the Wirra Wirra Winery. They will be your hosts for a special Australian Barbeque with a bushband and the chance to learn to throw a boomerang! From Wirra Wirra, we stop for tastings at Woodstock and Middlebrooke’s Wineries. Dinner tonight is included at famous Charlicks Restaurant.

Day 12: Adelaide to Barossa Valley

A tour through one of the most famous wine growing areas in the world — the Barossa Valley. We’ll visit Seppelts Winery, Chateau Yaldara and Yalumba Wineries. Lunch and tasting is included today at Kaesler Winery. Our new hotel is set in a natural amphitheatre overlooking Jacob Creek and the North Para River blending harmoniously with the picture-book landscape. A special dinner tonight at Vintners at Angaston.

Day 13: Barossa Valley to Adelaide

We head back to Adelaide this morning and transfer to the airport to connect with our flights home. 

New Zealand - on the tracks of Lord of the Rings

Participants: 11 pax,  Accommodation: 4/5 Star, Duration: 12 days 

Day 01: Arrive Auckland, Bay of Islands

Arrive Auckland and journey north by private vehicle to your accommodation for two nights including pre dinner drinks, dinner, breakfast at luxury lodge.

Day 02: Bay of Islands to Cape Reinga

Enjoy a scenic flight to Cape Reinga – the most northern tip of New Zealand.

Day 03: Bay of Islands to Taupo

Transfer by private car to Kerikeri Airport and fly to Auckland. Transfer by private car to Taupo with sightseeing en route in Rotorua and Waitomo. Accommodation for two nights including pre dinner drinks, dinner, breakfast at a luxury lodge.

Day 04: Taupo

Today enjoy a half day boat charter on Lake Taupo including lunch and fishing licences.

Day 05: Taupo to Arthur’s Pass via Christchurch

Transfer by Huka Lodge to Taupo Airport and fly to Christchurch. Transfer by private car to Arthur’s Pass. Accommodation for two nights including pre dinner drinks, dinner and breakfast at: Grasmere Lodge.

Day 06: Arthur’s Pass 

Today enjoy a farm tour of Grasmere – a working sheep station in the traditional high country style providing views of scenic lakes, rivers and mountains surrounding the lodge. Enjoy commentaries on Merino sheep, beef cattle and deer farming as well as some history of the area.

Day 07: Arthur’s Pass to Queenstown via Christchurch

Transfer by private car to Christchurch Airport and fly to Queenstown. Enjoy a private introductory tour of Queenstown – set on the shores of Lake Wakatipu amidst the massive peaks of the Southern Alps. Continue to your accommodation for three nights including breakfast at Eichardt’s Private Hotel

Day 08: Queenstown to Milford Sound and return

Enjoy a half day private helicopter trip to Milford Sound including a landing on top of a mountain in a remote wilderness site to enjoy a picnic luncheon.

Day 09: Queenstown

Enjoy a half day exhilarating jet boat ride on the scenic Dart River taking you through wilderness so untouched it has been declared a World Heritage Area. This afternoon is at leisure to relax at Eichardt’s or enjoy a leisurely stroll through the nearby Queenstown Botanical Gardens and lakeside walkways.

Day 10: Queenstown to Auckland

Transfer by coach to Queenstown Airport and fly to Auckland for international departure.
